Marryo ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered wedding planning platform. We provide couples and wedding planners with tools to design, plan, and coordinate their weddings — including an AI website builder, stationery studio, budget planner, guest manager, seating planner, and more. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at marryo.ai (the "Service"). By using Marryo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Account & profile information

• Name and email address when you create an account
• Wedding date, partner names, and other wedding details you choose to provide
• Profile preferences and settings

Wedding content

• Guest lists, contact details, and RSVP responses you enter
• Photos and media you upload to your wedding website, guest book, or AI design features
• Seating plans, budget data, and checklist items
• Stationery designs and customisations you create

Payment information

• We process payments through a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card number, CVV, or banking details on our servers — these are handled entirely by our payment processor.

Usage & technical data

• Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
• Browser type, device type, operating system, and IP address
• Crash reports and error logs for debugging purposes

Communications

• Emails you send us via our contact form or support channels
• Your email address for transactional and product update emails

3. How we use your data

• Delivering the Service — to build and run your wedding website, generate stationery, manage your guest list, and power all features you use
• AI features — your inputs (descriptions, preferences, prompts) are processed by AI systems to generate content on your behalf
• Payments — to process your one-time purchase and issue receipts
• Communications — to send your purchase confirmation, important account notices, and occasional product updates (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time)

4. Third-party services

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. Each operates under their own privacy policies and processes only the data necessary for their specific function.

• Payment processing — your payment is handled securely by a third-party payment processor. Your card data never touches our servers.
• Analytics — we use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used and where we can improve. Usage data is anonymised where possible.
• AI content generation — inputs and prompts you provide to AI-powered features are processed by third-party AI providers to generate content on your behalf. If you upload a photo to an AI editing feature (such as our Design Assistant), that photo is sent to our AI providers solely to generate your requested design or edit, and is not used to train their models. These providers do not receive your guest lists, RSVP data, or payment data.
• Email delivery — transactional and marketing emails are sent via a third-party email platform. Only your email address and name are shared for this purpose.

We do not sell or share your data with any provider beyond what is described above.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on secured servers with industry-standard encryption — TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest. Access to user data is strictly limited to what is necessary to operate the Service.

While we take every reasonable precaution, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
